My drift 2 final project turned out very well. I believe that I broke up the video into three different sections. The first section, almost the same as the rough cut, includes a rhythm that speeds up the audio tracks until it sounds like a system overload. The middle section, which is short and sweet, includes an uncut nature sound track with birds that seems fairly peaceful. The final section plays a rhythm that ends up feeling somewhat futuristic with the effects that are given.
The audio plays a huge roll within my project and that is what holds the whole thing together. When making the video I first would focus on making the audio track and knew that it would be easy to add images when that needed to come into play. I liked to reuse some of my clips throughout the video but put them with different audio tracks. This would give them a different meaning because the context is different. For example, the beginning clips and the finishing clips are similar but it comes into play completely differently.
This was an interesting project to work with because there was so much room open for creativity that I was able to explore and come up with something that is unique and interesting. I would like to try to create another video like this someday.
